In this article I want to talk about your Story and how it affects your life. Changing your story is the most crucial step you must take if you want to change your life… or anything in your life. We all have a story that we tell ourselves day in and day out. This story can either be extremely beneficial or devastating.
I know you’re thinking right now, what is my story? Your story is that little voice you have in your head subconsciously telling you things throughout the day. You may be hearing things like: I’m not confident, I’m so shy, I wish I was happy, and so on. Or, preferably, you are hearing things like: I’m very confident, I’m the life of the party, I’m so successful and happy, etc. This is a huge distinction in the quality of the life that you live.
Now I know you know exactly what I am talking about. We all have this story going on in our heads at all times. However, there are people who have amazing stories that don’t limit them in any way at all and they live amazing lives. I know you have seen them, heck maybe you are one of them. That is the true way to live life. And then there are those, like I used to be, who have nothing but negativity going on in our heads at all times. That is a problem and nobody wants to live like that. But, unfortunately, so many of us are living like this and can’t seem to find a way out.
But that problem can be fixed… very easily. All you have to do is change that story going on in your head. Start talking and thinking to yourself differently. For example, if you have low confidence and consistently are telling yourself that, you have to start telling yourself that you are extremely confident and you believe in yourself. Once you start doing that, you will see changes happen faster than you ever thought possible. And you can make these changes for any and everything in your life. It truly is amazing what a simple tweak of the mind can do.
When I first learned of this method, I was extremely suspicious and I didn’t put it into use until 2 years after I learned the method. I wish I had just done it right when I learned about it because once I did implement it, my life changed very quickly. And the same thing can happen to you to, just take that leap of faith.
You have to stop letting limiting beliefs and negative self talk ruin your life. Especially when you can change it so easily. If I can do it, so can you. Believe me… it is possible.
