As mentioned in a previous article, there are many benefits to experiencing first hand, a past life regression. In this article, we will be going more in depth as to some of the many events and people you may uncover through your own regression.
Let’s begin with the most commonly asked question, “Who was I in a past life?” While many would like to believe that they were once somebody special or held a stature of power or great wealth, it’s important to remember that we are all special and unique in our own ways, however, it is more common to find in past lives that you once lived as a peasant, a slave, or even a healer. We can’t all be Mary, Queen of Scotts, or Isis, but we have all lived many lifetimes as a Mother, Father, Sister, Brother, Wife, Husband, etc. I found it very fascinating to uncover the many secrets of my past lives.
You may also learn why you feel drawn to a specific time era or location. For instance, I am deeply drawn to two very specific locations, the first being the Caribbean side of the Yucatan Peninsula and to Ireland as well. As well as the days of King Arthur and the Isle of Avalon, for I was a High Priestess murdered for speaking of the very same topics I teach and believe in today! If you feel this drawing and you cannot explain it, chances are you have spent one or many lifetimes in that era or location. Exploring these tidbits are not only fascinating, but fun as well. These are probably the most commonly asked questions in regards to what one will learn from a past life regression.
Another reason one might seek out a professional who is capable of this process might be one to bring understanding and clarity to unexplained fears and phobias. Such fears and phobias might include being terrified of water, of heights, ties and shirt collars, which feel to constricting around your neck, panicking when one sees high flames. All physiological fears and phobias who are missing a traceable cause may be traced back to a life where you may have drowned, been burned at the stake, beheaded, starved to death, etc.
The same holds true for medical conditions where all tests lead to know known medical cause for what ails you and western medicine deems, “It’s all in your head.” It probably is, or within your cell memory. In my research for my Thesis on past life regressions, I read of a tale of a woman who had problems with her hip for most of her life that she could remember, under hypnosis, she recalled a past life where, as an early settler, her covered wagon was attacked and she had fallen out of the wagon. The wagon wheel had ran over her hip and that very same spot is where her pain existed today. This is only one story, there are literally thousands just like this one where people found, many times, instant relief. Many times, simply becoming aware of the event and leaving that particular event in the past, brings about healing.
Most of the women I have conducted past life regression sessions for come from abusive relationships. The common theme here is the “type” of relationship, when left unhealed in the lifetime for which it occurred, will continue and repeat itself until healed. This is what happened to my own daughter who had gotten involved with a man who turned out to be abusive. We discovered that, in a previous life, not only had he been abusive to her, she had actually died by his hands. Awareness is key when it comes to healing past life wounds. Now that she has awareness, she has broken the cycle, not only for herself and her own future lifetimes, but for her children as well.
Weight issues are also another reason people seek out regressions. Case studies have documented those who are overweight may have starved to death in past lives. Poverty or lack, many who once lived as monks, took a vow of poverty when entering the monastery. Birthmarks, moles and scars can provide insight into fatal wounds of previous lives.
